About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Manager to join our team at Neighbors Convenience Market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Market Research and Analysis
    • Study market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Analyze sales data and market research to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies.
  • Merchandise and Inventory Management
    • Determine the types and quantities of merchandise to be sold, taking into account customer demand and market trends.
    • Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Train sales associates to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Financial Management
    • Plan and manage budgets to ensure sales growth and profitability.
    • Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 35 hours per week.
