Position Overview

The Chill Desire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our dining establishment and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets to assess costs related to food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Operational Evaluation: Regularly evaluate daily operations to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Menu Management: Adjust food preparation techniques and pricing in alignment with the restaurant's financial objectives.
  • Daily Operations Planning: Organize and plan daily activities to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Staff Recruitment: Recruit and train staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and other necessary items.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
