About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of new products from Advanced Product Development to Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a seamless transition of new products from Advanced Product Development to Operations, following established practices and procedures.
  • Lead the advanced manufacturing team and support teams to achieve flawless launches, applying technical knowledge and expertise to ensure robust manufacturing process design.
  • Manage performance deliverables, including implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) suggestions, scrap reduction initiatives, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements.
  • Support technical and manufacturing solutions, including engineering and design, to achieve goals and objectives related to research and development, organizational projects, and services for continuous improvement and risk reduction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or applicable trade.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of conducting higher-level analysis and prioritizing tasks to achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of software applications, including FMEA and APQP.
