Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's vision.
- Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to ensure exceptional food quality.
- Culinary Operations
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals and individual dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.
- Inventory Management
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
