Job Title: Roofing Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Apprentice to join our team at Flynn Canada Ltd. As a Roofing Apprentice, you will assist experienced roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of built-up roofing systems, including asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
  • Help install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Support the installation of single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
  • Participate in the repair or replacement of single-ply roofing systems.
  • Assist in instructing apprentices and new hires.
  • Help install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:

Financial Benefits:
