Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment, implementing talent acquisition strategies to identify, attract, and hire high-quality talent across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Collaborate with hiring managers to assess hiring needs, establish recruiting strategies, and identify the best talent for the organization.
  • Manage the Recruitment Process: Oversee the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, and closing components involved in full-lifecycle recruiting.
  • Source Active Candidates: Utilize active and passive sourcing techniques to fill existing and future job openings, including online databases, internal databases, contact lists, and employee referrals.
  • Establish and Maintain Contacts: Develop and maintain contacts with employment sources, such as colleges, universities, search firms, trade associations, and plan and coordinate large-scale recruitment events.
  • Maintain Accurate Data: Ensure accurate and up-to-date recruiting data/status on the opens/filled report and in the applicant tracking system.
  • Partner with Coordinator: Collaborate with a coordinator to ensure completion of pre- and post-employment requirements, including online employment applications, background checks, and drug screenings.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain effective relationships and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the recruiting process.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Director: Work with the Talent Acquisition Director on recruiting projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree-level education required.
  • Experience: 2-4+ years of progressive recruitment experience, with a blend of agency and in-house experience highly preferred.
  • Skills: Proven track record of maintaining high req loads with roles of varying levels across multiple geographies, experience working on large-scale recruiting projects, and proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, such as Workday.
  • Industry Experience: Experience within the wine and spirits or consumer packaged goods industry is helpful.
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledgeable about best practices for recruitment, selection policies, and regulations from sourcing through hire, and demonstrated success providing lawful and appropriate first-line advice to the business line.
