About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Lady Luck Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that our customers receive excellent service and that our kitchen runs smoothly.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
