Pediatric Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Surgeon to join our team at SickKids. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our young patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
- Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
- Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
- Act as consultants to other physicians
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
- Specialization in pediatrics and thoracic surgery
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. You will be expected to work under pressure and make sound judgments in a team setting.
