We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Surgeon to join our team at SickKids.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical care to infants and children, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct complex surgical procedures on infants and children, including thoracic surgery
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a range of conditions, from routine to complex
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in research and education initiatives to advance the field of pediatric surgery
- MD or equivalent degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- 5+ years of experience in pediatric surgery
- Current licensure and certification in Canada
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a permanent, full-time position working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
