Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
The Cleaning Supervisor will primarily work in an office building setting, coordinating with various departments to maintain cleanliness and order.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and manage cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning personnel.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Identify and recommend additional services such as painting, repairs, or renovations as needed.
- Handle payments for specialized cleaning services.
- Assist cleaning staff in their duties as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
The Cleaning Supervisor will oversee a team of 5-10 light duty cleaners.
Work Conditions- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and engage in physically demanding work.
- Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Compensation is in accordance with the collective agreement.
- Employment duration is permanent.
- Working language is English.
- Expected working hours range from 30 to 35 hours per week.
