About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify client needs and develop personalized financial plans to meet their goals and objectives.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients on investment strategies and financial products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and ongoing service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • University degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
  • IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role).
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role.
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role.
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first year in role.
  • Strong understanding of the financial industry, competitive landscape, and economic market issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively and independently.
