Job Title: Financial Planner - Wealth Management Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planner to join our team at Meridian. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and guidance to our members, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for our members, taking into account their individual financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance.
  • Investment Advice: Provide expert investment advice and guidance to our members, helping them make informed decisions about their investment portfolios.
  • Risk Management: Help our members identify and mitigate potential risks to their financial well-being, such as market volatility, inflation, and interest rate changes.
  • Tax Planning: Assist our members in minimizing their tax liabilities and maximizing their after-tax returns.
  • Estate Planning: Help our members create effective estate plans, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Retirement Planning: Assist our members in creating comprehensive retirement plans, including strategies for maximizing their retirement income and minimizing their expenses.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning, investment advice, or a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: MFDA licensing is required. The successful candidate may be required to complete the necessary coursework to attain IIROC licensing.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
