As the Wealth Credit Risk Manager, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate credit applications submitted by Private Banking through various credit platforms within a designated lending authority.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders in Private Banking to support credit opportunities, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all pertinent information before making credit decisions. Additionally, you will engage with other internal partners to guarantee a thorough grasp of all relevant details and operational considerations throughout the credit adjudication process.

Your role will also involve providing insightful advice and guidance from a credit risk perspective, assisting in identifying an acceptable level of objective comfort regarding potential credit opportunities under consideration by Private Banking.

This position offers the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid arrangement, allowing you to work on-site 1-3 days per week while spending the remaining days remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Relationship Management:** Maintain effective communication throughout the credit adjudication process.
2. **Collaboration:** Develop strong working relationships with Private Bankers, Private Banking Associates, Credit Specialists, Mortgage Advisors, and Regional Leadership as part of your daily approach.
3. **Credit Risk Management:** Manage cross-functional relationships with other credit risk teams and engage with internal teams to ensure appropriate oversight on key risks as necessary.

To qualify for this role, you should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Credit Adjudication and/or Commercial and Business Banking, along with an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
Additional qualifications such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Professional Financial Planning Course (PFPC), or professional designations in law, accounting, or investment management will be considered an asset.

Your critical thinking abilities will play a crucial role in informing your decision-making process. Fluency in both French and English is essential to effectively serve our diverse clientele.
