Job Title: Process Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team at Jensen Hughes Company. As a Process Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of industrial processes and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement process safety management (PSM) programs
  • Perform dust hazard analyses (DHAs) and quantitative risk analyses (QRAs)
  • Plan and direct process safety audits and inspections
  • Develop and maintain process safety documentation and procedures
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify and mitigate process safety risks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in process safety
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in process safety
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with APEGA
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
  • Experience with PHA software and other process safety tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
