Job Summary

Sotera Health is seeking a highly skilled Millwright (Technical Service Representative) to join our team. As a key member of our Installation and Service team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our industrial sterilization equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission Nordion's industrial sterilization equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project engineers and technical service specialists, to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Participate in training and development programs, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Millwright license (433A) or equivalent experience.
  • 4-year apprentice or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Field service or project coordination experience, preferably in a nuclear, electrical, or mechanically focused environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel internationally, with a minimum of 180 days per year.
  • Valid Canadian passport and driver's license.
  • Background verification, including FBI fingerprinting and criminal record check.

Physical Demands

  • Good manual dexterity and grip strength.
  • Lift at least 25kgs on an occasional basis.
  • Sustained physical work in a hot environment.
  • May require work in confined places and at heights.

Training and Certification

  • Must complete all required training and certification as a Nuclear Energy Worker.
