About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at BrockStarr Dental Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with various tasks, including preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys, and ordering dental and office supplies.
  • Perform administrative functions, such as maintaining patient records, processing invoices, and handling reception duties.
  • Supervise students in training and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies, and contribute to the development of our team's skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical expertise in plastering, packing, waxing-up, casting, polishing, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
