About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at Above The Line Construction Ltd. as a Construction Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
    • Monitor and control project expenses to ensure they are within approved limits.
  • Contract Administration
    • Prepare and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure projects meet quality standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Skills
    • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and control.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
