Job Title: Project Director

NR Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead our eHealth project portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated plans to procure and implement client-managed technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop and execute project plans that align with the eHealth Strategy roadmap.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate internal planning and stakeholder consultation to ensure alignment with eHealth Strategy objectives.
  • Lead project committees and support project governance bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and negotiate IT vendor contracts, including request for proposal processes.
  • Manage project resources and vendors to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Document and report project status against established objectives, milestones, budgets, and resources.
  • Identify and manage project variances via the project governance structure.
  • Apply knowledge and experience of healthcare systems and stakeholders in Alberta to proactively identify potential impacts and issues.
  • Meet governance and regulatory requirements for the service, including Privacy Impact Assessments and Security Threat Risk Assessments.
  • Manage interdependencies between new projects and existing services.
  • Develop reports, summaries, presentations, and communication materials.
  • Develop a communications plan and risk management plan for the portfolio of projects.
  • Manage internal and external risks on the integrated plan and develop appropriate contingencies.
