About the Position:
We are in search of a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on Capital Markets Risk & Disputes to strengthen our risk management framework. In this vital position, you will collaborate closely with various departments to effectively manage risks and support the expansion of our brokerage services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess business decisions and provide legal counsel on potential risks.
- Lead the response to disputes and regulatory inquiries.
- Advise the marketing team on risk evaluations and promotional guidelines.
- Address intricate legal challenges in a technology-oriented setting.
- Identify and mitigate emerging business risks.
- Juris Doctor degree with 5-8 years of experience in dispute resolution.
- Proficiency in regulatory inquiries and capital markets.
- Strong analytical abilities and adept problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication of legal principles to non-legal stakeholders.
- Project management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Fluency in French.
- Experience with class action litigation.
- Familiarity with generative AI technologies.
