About the role:

We are on the lookout for a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on Capital Markets Risk & Disputes to strengthen our risk management framework. In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with various departments to effectively manage risks and support the expansion of our brokerage.

Role responsibilities:

  • Assess business decisions and provide legal counsel on potential risks.
  • Lead the response to disputes and investigations.
  • Advise the marketing team on risk evaluations and promotional conditions.
  • Address intricate legal challenges in a technology-driven landscape.
  • Identify and mitigate emerging business risks.
Skills you bring:
  • Juris Doctor degree and 5-8 years of experience in disputes.
  • Proficiency in regulatory investigations and capital markets.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication of legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
  • Project management capabilities to prioritize tasks.
Nice to haves:
  • Fluency in French.
