Position Summary: As a Maintenance Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of our storage facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including cleaning, landscaping, pest management, snow removal, and maintaining our brand standards. You will also conduct security assessments, report operational issues, and provide additional support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections to ensure units are clean and free of debris, managing inventory effectively.
  • Carry out light maintenance tasks such as door latch repairs, gutter cleaning, lock cutting, fence repairs, and gate upkeep.
  • Maintain brand standards by ensuring proper lighting and functionality of security cameras to enhance customer experience.
  • Conduct security audits to protect the facility and tenants' belongings.
  • Oversee landscaping and pest control efforts to ensure a clean and pest-free environment.
  • Manage snow removal during adverse weather conditions to guarantee safe access for customers.
  • Identify and report operational and capital concerns to appropriate channels for timely resolution.
  • Assist in preventative maintenance by tracking and communicating future maintenance needs to the leadership team.
  • Support team members with customer payment processing as required.
  • Assist with lock reconciliation tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail in managing unit inventory and adhering to brand standards.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and ability to conduct security audits.
  • Capability to handle landscaping, pest control, and snow removal tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
