About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Onshore New Unit Project Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy Canada Limited. As a key member of our Gas Services organization, you will play a critical role in executing the on-shore scope of new unit sales contracts with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build strong relationships with customers by responding to their needs and collaborating with Siemens Energy product lines to provide solutions that add the most value.
  2. Arrange for and manage resources to support site work, including people, parts, tools, consumables, and safety equipment.
  3. Lead and motivate diverse project teams by making technical and commercial decisions, while maintaining focus on the customer and project goals.
  4. Manage budgets and forecasts for the execution work by tracking man-hours and costs, ensuring that the project remains profitable and the customer is informed.
  5. Apply a broad knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the commercial and technical management of turbine and generator equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience
  • Selected candidate will be required to obtain project management certification within 24 months
