The Product Manager, Service Solutions is responsible for the success and profitability of the Global Services portfolio at ATS. This role defines a vision and roadmap for products and solutions, from conception to launch, and ensures the successful creation, launch, and management of lifecycle services offers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify market opportunities through prospect discussions, customer feedback, and market research, and define the necessary products and solutions architecture that maximizes financial performance.
  • Own the compilation and communication of the solutions roadmap and lifecycle of products and offerings.
  • Build credible, data-based business cases for undertaking new product offerings within existing portfolios.
  • Track and manage the profitability of the service-product portfolio, understanding revenue upside potential and identifying optimizations for cost structure and service delivery to maximize margins.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, defining the offering structure, pricing, major competitors, and value propositions for all competing offerings in the market space.
  • Ensure the effective planning and delivery of service solutions through close collaboration with key stakeholder teams at ATS, driving success in sales, marketing, finance, R&D, engineering, divisional, and regional service teams.
  • Enable and assist with marketing content generation for target markets, segments, and customers, presenting a clear value proposition on how and why products and solutions deliver value to customers, enabling marketing promotion and ultimate sales success.
  • Enable and assist in sales training and enablement, defining how-to-sell and execute the offer vision.
  • Enable and assist marketing in generating testimonials, customer success stories, and whitepaper content to drive Global Services promotions capabilities.
  • Become a knowledge-leader and key asset for Sales and Services team members globally, an inspirational support and driver of service solutions.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
  • Additional business degree or leadership certificate is a plus.
  • Minimum five years of experience.
  • A combination of marketing, sales, and engineering experience.
  • Product management experience in B2B markets.
  • Experience with services and service solutions.
  • Experience in technology/manufacturing fields, industrial automation, industrial equipment, processes, etc.
  • Ability to sell to internal customers.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in key ATS market segments: life sciences, food and beverage, automotive, energy, etc.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Self-starter who is able to demonstrate initiative.
  • Excellent time communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with international partners and marketing in international markets is a plus.
  • An inherent desire to delight customers.
