About the Role

The Global Category Manager - Accessories Procurement and Planning will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement and inventory strategies that meet competitive market demands while achieving corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement and inventory strategies to meet business objectives
  • Work closely with the demand planning team to build a supply plan based on supplier network capacity
  • Play an active role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Manage a team of buyers, planners, and analysts to execute the category strategy and meet margin and profitability objectives
  • Develop and maintain the suppliers database and stay informed of market developments
  • Manage the lifecycle of products and contracts, including supporting the Portfolio Manager in the accessory development and sourcing cycle
  • Collaborate in the deployment strategy to improve facing fill rate
  • Set up and maintain work tools and business processes necessary for the department's proper functioning
  • Manage supplier relationships globally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supply planning
  • Essential bilingualism (oral and written) and knowledge of Spanish is an asset
  • Be versatile, autonomous, rigorous, and have excellent analytical skills
  • Good communicator and recognized leader
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and teamwork
  • Ability to manage and mobilize a team
  • Knowledge of SAP S4 and SAP IBP is an asset
  • Available to travel
