About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at I Cornetti Inc. as a key member of our bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development: Create and implement new recipes for a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.
  • Dough Preparation: Prepare and mix dough for bread, rolls, and other baked goods, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Baking and Decorating: Bake and decorate a wide range of sweet and savory items, including cakes, pastries, and bread.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of bakers and kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Bakery.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, judgment, and team player.
