We are a wine-focused restaurant and bar, dedicated to providing an exceptional dining and drinking experience for our customers. As a Bar Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our wine program is top-notch and that our staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wine Program Management
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive wine list that showcases a diverse selection of wines from around the world.
    • Work closely with our wine supplier to ensure that our wine inventory is always up-to-date and that we are offering the best possible selection to our customers.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train and educate our staff on wine knowledge, including wine regions, grape varieties, and wine-making techniques.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that ensures our staff are knowledgeable and confident in their ability to recommend wines to customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, including wine recommendations and pairing suggestions.
    • Ensure that our customers have a positive and memorable experience in our bar and restaurant.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage our wine inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing wine.
    • Monitor and control wine inventory levels to ensure that we are always stocked with the best selection of wines.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that our bar and restaurant meet all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of wine.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for our staff.
  • Leadership and Teamwork
    • Lead and motivate our team to provide exceptional customer service and to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
    • Work collaboratively with our management team to achieve our business goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Excellent wine knowledge and expertise
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
