Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Lead to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in building and enhancing the skills, knowledge, and abilities of our associates to deliver exceptional service and results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver face-to-face training sessions for various levels of management and front-line associates
  2. Develop high-quality training materials and programs that drive business impact and results
  3. Utilize blended learning techniques to facilitate training programs and ensure maximum engagement
  4. Track and evaluate training programs to measure their effectiveness and impact
  5. Provide "train the trainer" support to assist in the provision of training to our decentralized organization
  6. Conduct research to identify best practices and tools for delivering training programs
  7. Maintain a self-directed approach to staying current on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience in developing and facilitating training sessions in a corporate environment
  2. Degree or 3-year college diploma; Certificate in Adult Education would be an asset
  3. Strong evidence of continuous learning and professional development
  4. Proven ability to apply adult learning principles throughout the instructional design and facilitation processes
  5. Experience in coaching and mentoring managers
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  8. Strong consultative skills with the ability to influence professionals at all levels
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  10. Willingness to travel up to 40% within Canada
