About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized People Programs Specialist to join our team at McDonald's. As a key member of our People Strategy and Programs team, you will play a critical role in elevating our reputation by helping restaurant teams deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Core People Programs: Develop and implement core people programs, including an enhanced listening/survey strategy, employee discounts and perks, uniform/apparel program, and employee engagement initiatives for the restaurants.
  • Develop Change Management and Communication Plans: Create and execute change management and communication plans to support key programs/initiatives, driving excitement and program engagement.
  • Collect and Integrate Feedback: Collect and integrate feedback to ensure programs are driving the right outcomes.
  • Manage Relationships and Collaborate: Manage relationships and collaborate with the HR Field, Communications, and Operations teams, along with third-party vendors.
  • Participate in Working Teams: Participate in working teams for new/ad hoc people projects related to attraction and engagement.
  • Manage the Yearlong People Program Calendar/Plan and Budget: Manage the yearlong people program calendar/plan and budget.
  • Support Other Initiatives: Support other initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in Human Resources, or an administrative/coordination role.
  • Experience in the development, coordination, and delivery of programs/projects.
  • Proficiency with technology and ability to innovate through new systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of a large corporate environment and/or the McDonald's system is an asset.
  • A degree/diploma in Human Resources or Business is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
