Overview:
Mewar Info Tech Limited is seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst with extensive experience in SAS. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our SAS administrators to evaluate our SAS EG 9.4 environment. The primary focus will be to deliver comprehensive specifications to the development team aimed at resolving security vulnerabilities and design shortcomings in the current SAS source codes and shell scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess business requirements to outline IT solutions.
  • Engage in workshops to gather and specify business needs for IT solutions.
  • Conduct impact assessments and effort estimations to propose, obtain approval for, and document IT solutions using effective methodologies while liaising with both business users and the IT project team.
  • Assist in the development of solutions and perform technical analyses.
  • Support quality assurance processes and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Draft user stories that are clear and comprehensible for designers and the QA team.
  • Identify and communicate the effects on business processes to facilitate change management within business units.
  • Create and maintain functional, precise, and accessible documentation for all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in SAS.
  • Solid experience with Oracle databases.
  • Background in data integration, including data warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques.
  • Extensive experience with SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, star schema, and relational models.
  • Experience working within a Scrum project framework.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in JIRA and CONFLUENCE.
  • Authorization to work in Canada is required.

Contract Details:
Type: Fixed-term contract
Duration: 6 months

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $41.74 - $65.00
Expected Hours: 40 per week
