Senior Consultant (Regulatory Reporting Business Analysis)

We are seeking a senior business analyst consultant to join our Toronto team and work on a capital markets project. The BA will collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams on various initiatives, varying in risk, size, and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Product Owner to create/update/refine User Stories
  2. Gather and clarify business requirements with business stakeholders
  3. Utilize monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to business/technical alerts
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting
  5. Participate in Scrum ceremonies, such as Daily Scrum, Planning, Review, etc.
  6. Elevate trade reporting issues to Senior Management and Compliance as necessary
  7. Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners
  8. Support the interpretation of internal and external policies and regulatory requirements relevant to analytics
  9. Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst delivering business requirements for G20 regulations, including trade reporting
  2. Strong knowledge and experience within regulatory reporting and domain within repos (repurchase agreement)
  3. In-depth understanding of G20 regulations, including trade reporting
  4. Global trade repository (DTCC, UnaVista) specifications are a must
  5. Creative and result-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
