As a key member of the Human Resources Shared Services Team, the HR Generalist (Contract) will oversee administrative functions associated with employee lifecycle events at FCT, along with additional responsibilities as needed.

  • Manage HRSS mailbox and address case-related inquiries as necessary, including follow-up actions.
  • Oversee the complete disability management process, encompassing leaves of absence, benefits, and related Human Resource Information System (HRIS) administration.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for benefits administration and disability management to ensure efficient processes.
  • Respond to employee and leadership inquiries regarding general employment matters, benefits, leaves, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the administration of employee lifecycle activities within our HRIS (Workday) system and prepare necessary documentation, including Employment Verification letters.
  • Support the HR Centers of Excellence with the operational aspects of their programs and initiatives.
Your Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Talent Management is preferred. A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field such as Business Administration is desirable.
  • Completion or enrollment in the CHRP/L certification program is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong administrative skills; highly detail-oriented and process-focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with HRIS is beneficial, with a preference for Workday experience.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects while maintaining organization and effective time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated integrity in handling confidential information, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • A strong customer service orientation is essential.
