We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as an ADP Authorizer. This role involves performing clinical evaluations, identifying equipment needs, and providing education to clients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments
  • Recommend equipment needs and initiate applications for funding
  • Consult with local vendors and provide education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, and wheelchair and adaptive aide use
  • Evaluate restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention
  • Record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
  • ADP Authorization
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred
