Clinical Nurse Educator

The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in promoting quality, culturally safe nursing practice, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assess competencies and design learning plans to support professional development activities
- Coordinate and deliver orientation, education, and training sessions for nurses working in various roles throughout Nunavut
- Promote equitable healthcare services throughout the territory by ensuring high clinical standards are met by nurses delivering those services
- Collaborate with the nursing education team to increase patient satisfaction, public confidence in the healthcare system, and impact the health and well-being of Nunavummiut through the development and maintenance of a competent nursing workforce
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent, plus three (3) years of experience in a nursing role, including at least one year of experience in training in an adult learning setting
- Eligibility to register with RNANTNU
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of Inuktut and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment an asset
