Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our high standards.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that our store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Sell merchandise and promote our products to customers to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform our business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is always stocked with the products our customers want.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our cashiers, grocery clerks and shelf stockers, retail salespersons and sales clerks to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage our team and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic to ensure that our store is always well-stocked and our customers are satisfied.
