About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Physician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring a continuum of care with healthcare providers within your practice and/or community.
  • Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level healthcare.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members in the practice to best suit the community's health needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
  • Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR, accessible to all collaborating team members.
Requirements
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
  • Full-time or part-time position available.
