As a Family Medicine Physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including local walk-in clinics, inpatient rotations, low-risk obstetrics, nursing homes, and leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care through effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient access and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BCLS).
