Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Medical

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Guardian Health Centre Pharmacy & Pharmasave. As an Administrative Assistant - Medical, you will provide administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories.
  • Scheduling and Confirmations: Schedule and confirm appointments with patients, ensuring timely and efficient use of our medical team's time.
  • Filing and Inventory: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and manage inventory of medical supplies.
  • Office Procedures: Develop and implement efficient office procedures and routines to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient records and medical information.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate financial statements and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
