About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our Canadian Commercial Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales results through the leadership, coaching, and development of a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs). You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with assigned accounts and healthcare professionals, managing sales performance, business analysis, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed all sales and performance objectives
  • Provide formal and informal field coaching feedback to employees through consistent, well-documented activity with a minimum of 90 days in the field
  • Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Taro sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training
  • Adhere to all compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies
  • Review monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address opportunities and concerns
  • Coach teams towards success from hire date onward, providing appropriate counseling, encouragement, and oversight to ensure effective execution of the specialty strategy
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Canada for field coaching, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews
  • Personally manage assigned accounts and HCP within a defined territory

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a specialty sales management role
  • Pharmaceutical marketing and sales experience in oncology an asset
  • Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills with the established ability to effectively work with diverse audiences and influence cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to effectively analyze data to determine trends and inform strategy
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive travel including weekends and extended travel when required
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • 90-day minimum field day activity
