Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to patients, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct health education and promotion activities to empower patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Charge Nurse experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., ACLS, ENPEP, PALS, TNCC, ENPC).
