Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care within our mental health and addictions program.
- Provide crisis intervention, assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services to adults with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with mental health therapists, addictions counselors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individual care plans and lead groups to support patients in achieving their goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical policies, procedures, and best practices in mental health and addictions care.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Experience in addictions and mental health, as well as knowledge of the DSM Categories, Mental Health Act, and Assertive Outreach services, is an asset.
