We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Go2STAFFING. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the internal accounting functions and ensure that financial reporting activities are completed on an accurate and timely basis.
- Prepare monthly income, receivables, payables, cash flow, and balance statements, and assist with planning of sales management activities.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure company financial information is fairly stated.
- Organize audits and assist external auditors as required.
- Work with external accounting firms on tax management and be responsible for tax filings.
- Keep up to date with accounting changes in Canada, the US, and the EU.
- Manage external communications to authorities, regulators, etc. on all financial matters.
- Build processes to add 'checks and balances' to all financial processes with an eye to creating processes that are 100% transparent.
- Manage payroll (through ADP) and commission calculations and payout for staff.
- Liaise with, and coordinate the work of, external accountants.
- Maintain and manage banking relationships and banking activities.
