About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at 2506981 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our facilities management department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and that the facilities are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our cleaning standards are met.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Manage and maintain accurate financial records related to the cleaning operations, including budgets and expenditures.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff to ensure that our facilities are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties: Provide training and guidance to the cleaning staff on their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the cleaning staff are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning or facilities management industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Environmental and Occupational Health: Experience in environmental and occupational health, including knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Cleaning: Experience in cleaning operations, including knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols.
  • Sanitation: Experience in sanitation and maintenance, including knowledge of sanitation procedures and protocols.
Personal Suitability
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients.
