About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and control the activities and quality of services provided by facilities staff.
  • Coordinate workloads, assign tasks, and monitor activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Provide direct supervision to front-line staff, including training and development opportunities.
  • Perform quality management responsibilities, including conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Manage financial resources, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities management, including infrastructure renewal and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including Occupational Health and Safety Act and Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines.
