Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Travelodge by Wyndham Sarnia. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Coordinate Housekeeping Activities: Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Recommend Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to our housekeeping procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with Guest Requests: Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
