About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Drawbridge Residences Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping services.
    • Coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision and Development
    • Supervise and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to staff.
  • Inventory Management and Procurement
    • Manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that they are adequate and up-to-date.
    • Select and purchase equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Assurance and Customer Service
    • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
    • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youth
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
    • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Veterans
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • English.
