Job Title: Estimator - Construction

At Multitech Contracting 2000, we are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate estimates and timely project completion
  • Analyze tenders and recommend awards to ensure best value for the company
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimation
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Regular travel to construction sites may be required
