Construction Estimator Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Gottardo Group of Companies. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for conducting cost analyses, preparing estimates, and reviewing project specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist in the tender and quantity take off process on multiple estimating projects
* Deal directly with subtrades in preparation of tender documents
* Work with the Chief Estimator to close tenders and proposals
* Manage the transition of successful project estimating to the project management team for execution

**Requirements**

* 3 years of estimating experience within the GTA
* Experience estimating projects in the scope of $500K - $1M
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills
* Knowledge of construction materials and methods
* Experience in cost analysis and preparing estimates
* Ability to review and interpret project specifications
* Good communication and negotiation skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in construction estimating software
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Relevant certification or diploma in Construction Management and Estimating
