Role Overview: The Vice President of Account Management plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic vision and objectives of the organization. This position involves the formulation and execution of both short-term and long-term plans to ensure compliance with company policies and financial guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the initiation and conclusion of all projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial and administrative controls, managing the budgeting and cost processes effectively.
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting activities for the designated area.
  • Address client billing inquiries and ensure timely completion of invoicing tasks.
  • Support sales initiatives for National or Global Accounts, with potential oversight of other managerial roles.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders while adhering to the client contract program.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the area, branches, and staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Recruit and develop managers and staff, monitoring performance through regular evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Conduct performance assessments and offer developmental feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with HR for escalated personnel matters, ensuring a cohesive workplace.
  • Promote safe and ethical work practices, ensuring all employees are well-versed in company policies.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in senior management roles, emphasizing operational and financial leadership.
  • Act as a change agent, effectively implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and legislative regulations.
  • Possess a minimum of ten years of progressive management experience, including at least seven years in direct management with full P&L accountability.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV and Access Control is advantageous.
  • Experience in a unionized setting is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various client databases.
