POSITION SUMMARY
As a Climate Control Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by performing maintenance and repairs on climate control equipment efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues while adhering to safety protocols.
- Delivering and installing climate control equipment as required.
- Performing regular safety inspections on all equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Meeting all safety regulations and company standards.
- Assisting with additional tasks as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of a minimum Gas Technician G2 certificate.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Strong technical knowledge of propane and natural gas appliances.
- Familiarity with oil-burning equipment is a plus; training will be provided.
- Willingness to obtain WHMIS and TDG certifications.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment regularly.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using mobile computing devices.
- Liquid propane fitter certification is an asset; training will be provided.
- Certification in Construction Heater Service and Maintenance Technician 1 is a plus; training will be provided.
