About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Sectoral Climate Strategy to join our Climate Strategy team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of sectoral climate strategies that support our bank's climate ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Support the development of sectoral climate strategies, including research and analytical work, to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and decarbonization.
  • Project Management: Manage projects to implement sectoral strategies across lines of business, including the development of common enterprise-level frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge Management: Establish and maintain a knowledge and insights management function to stay up-to-date on key technical and strategic developments relevant to our mandate.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure strong cross-enterprise alignment and support for sectoral climate strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in strategy development, project management, and sustainability, with at least 3+ years of experience in a management consulting or corporate strategy role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with quantitative economic and financial models. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
